Located right on the truly idyllic Wilderness Beach. It is within walking distance to a multitude of lovely restaurants and shops.

We are just a 50 minute flight from Cape Town, South Africa, an hour and 50 minutes flight from Johannesburg and a 3 hour drive from Port Elizabeth.

Our local George Airport is a 30 minute drive from Sea Paradise. The airport is small and hassle free, so within minutes one is through and ready to travel the Garden Route.

Each of our rooms boast gorgeous sea views, refrigerators for your convenience and smart TVs with Netflix for when you've found you've had a little too much sun. Room 2 includes a sofa bed and sleeps three adults and Room 5 has two bedrooms and sleeps four adults.

Situated in the Heart of the Garden Route, nestled in the foothills of the Outeniqua Mountains in a region of incomparable beauty, lies the town of Wilderness. It is a dream come true for both tourists and locals alike!

Nature Trails

Wilderness offers a multitude of wonderful nature trails each of varying distances and with their own unique features of waterfalls, rock-pools, fynbos to mention a few

Extreme Activities

Wilderness offers abseiling/kloofing, mountain biking, paragliding as well as sky-diving and bungee jumping nearby for those looking for an adrenaline rush.

Canoeing & Fishing

Canoeing is a great way to experience the area while gently floating away with the current. ​ Fishing during a South Africa coastal holiday is allowed in the Leentjiesklip, Kleinkrans, Sandhoogte, Swartvlei, Eilandvlei and Gericke's Point regions of the Wilderness National Park.

Bird Sighting

Wilderness National Park consists of 5 lakes, 5 rivers, 2 estuaries and 28km of beach. It covers Forest, River Wetland, Tidal Estuary, Forest and Wetland Habitats. ​ It's easy to record around 85 different species of bird

Markets

Wilderness and the surrounding areas boast a number of fantastic food/goods markets such as the Milkwood Evening Market each Friday, the Sedgefield Market on a Saturday or the Outeniqua Farmers Market, also held each Saturday.

Wilderness is a holiday destination with 6 kilometres of unspoilt, dazzling white beaches, and many vantage points from which to watch whales and dolphins giving unsolicited performances for enthralled tourists. It's bordered by the Kaaimans River to the west, the Goukamma Nature Reserve to the east, the Outeniqua Mountains to the north, and the Indian Ocean to the south. Wilderness boasts a wonderful winter climate with mild nights and lovely day temperatures.
