We are just a 50 minute flight from Cape Town,  a 1hour and 50 minute flight from Johannesburg and a 3 hour drive from Port Elizabeth.

Our local George Airport is a 30 minute drive from Sea Paradise. The airport is small and hassle free, so within minutes one is through and ready to travel the Garden Route.

All of our rooms are equipped with satellite TV and our main lounge has a large flat screen TV, just perfect while enjoying the blissful sea view too.

Surroundings and Activities

Wilderness is at the same time an ideal honeymoon or family holiday destination, and a tranquil haven for nature enthusiasts.
Bird, Dolphin and Whale watching opportunities abound and are truly magnificent. Wilderness is also a hiker’s and adventurer’s paradise, with a choice of hiking trails.
An aura of tranquillity enfolds the area and there is a marked absence of windswept headlands and wild, stormy seas.
The vast stretch of beaches embrace the mouths of the Touw and Kaaimans rivers, and are backed by cliffs over which the fringe of the lush forest reaches right down to sea level.
Every Friday night there is an evening market at Milkwood Village in Wilderness, offering many unexpected and often exciting finds, while Sedgefield Saturday Market is only 15 minutes away.
There is a choice of 12 excellent golf courses in close proximity.
The Knysna Oyster  Festival (only 30 minutes away) takes place at the beginning of June, offering a marathon, cycling and many more activities.
Wilderness is the ideal base from which to explore the Garden Route and Little Karoo – a unique creation that beguiles and enchants visitors from all over the world.
Day trips can be undertaken in all directions, to destinations like Oudtshoorn, Mosselbay, Knysna, the Tsitsikamma National Park and various wine routes; as well as to the world’s highest Bungy Jump (216 m) and paragliding.
Canoe trips on the Touws River up to Waterfall in the National Parks Board area is also on offer.
